This is a must visit in Pinhao! The butcher is so nice and gave us many samples of meat, cheese and Duoro ice tea (which is just cold, refreshing, white wine). The meats are incredible! One of our Pinhao highlights.
We stopped in here for some good Portuguese cheese as a snack and this place is the real deal! They were sooooo nice, they let me try several cheeses and even had my try a few different "iced teas" which were refreshing...and had port in them! I wish I could go back.
What great place we bought a lot of sliced sausages for the train ride and some cheese. The tasting before buying would not end as he kept making us try every product they had. Add to that their home made tea that is guaranteed to cure any love problems!I felt bad for the locals waiting but they were smiling and seem to be really used to this.
O melhor talho de Portugal, sem dvida! A charcutaria executada na perfeio e as compotas caseiras que poucos conhecem so a mistura certa. Fabuloso
